Safeguarding Policy

How Tutormint keeps students safe — tutor vetting, lesson safety, expected conduct, and how to report a concern.

Last reviewed: 25-07-2026

Our commitment

Tutormint provides one-to-one online tutoring to children, and their safety comes before everything else — including commercial interest. This policy sets out how we keep students safe.

Tutor vetting

Every tutor is identity-verified and interviewed before joining. Tutors are briefed on this policy and expected conduct before their first lesson.

How lessons are kept safe

All lessons take place on Google Meet through scheduled links. Parents and guardians may join or observe any lesson, at any time, without notice. Tutors never contact students privately: all communication runs through Tutormint's official channels, and progress updates go to parents, not students.

Expected conduct

Tutors keep all interaction professional, age-appropriate and focused on learning; never request personal contact details, social media connections or images from students; and never arrange contact outside scheduled lessons.

Reporting a concern

If you or your child has any concern about a lesson, a tutor, or anything else, contact our safeguarding lead via WhatsApp (+44 7746 698654) or admin@tutormint.uk. Concerns are acknowledged the same day, taken seriously, and investigated promptly. Where a concern suggests a child may be at risk of harm, we will not hesitate to involve the appropriate authorities.

Continuous review

This policy is reviewed at least annually and whenever our practices change. Last reviewed: 25-07-2026.
