Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern one-to-one online tutoring with Tutormint — the service, bookings and payment, rescheduling, refunds and responsibilities.

Last updated: 27-08-2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern tutoring services provided by Tutormint Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17423332, trading as Tutormint (“we”) to the parent or guardian booking lessons (“you”). By booking lessons you accept these terms.

2. The service

We provide one-to-one online tutoring delivered by tutors we select, interview and match to your child. Lessons are 1 hour and take place on Google Meet at agreed times. The first demo class is free with no obligation.

3. Bookings and payment

Lesson prices are confirmed before you commit and are payable. There are no sign-up fees and no minimum term; you can pause or stop at any time after paid-for lessons are used or refunded per clause 5.

4. Rescheduling and cancellation

Lessons may be rescheduled free with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice are counted as delivered, with one free late cancellation per calendar month. If a student has not joined within 15 minutes and we cannot reach you, the lesson is counted as delivered. If your child is unwell and you tell us before the lesson starts, we reschedule free. If we cancel a lesson, it is never charged and is rescheduled at your convenience.

5. Refunds

Unused pre-paid lessons are refundable on request within 7 days of purchase, or credited to future lessons at any time. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

6. Your responsibilities

You confirm you are the child's parent/guardian, will provide accurate information, ensure a suitable device and connection, and that a responsible adult is contactable during lessons for students under 18.

7. Safeguarding and conduct

Tutors communicate with students and parents only through Tutormint channels. Parents may join any lesson at any time. We may end a lesson or the service in cases of abusive behaviour toward tutors.

8. Our liability

We provide tutoring with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee specific grades or exam outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the lessons giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Intellectual property

Lesson materials we provide are for your child's personal study only and may not be shared or resold.

10. General

We may update these terms with notice on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the courts of England and Wales. Contact: admin@tutormint.uk. Last updated: 27-08-2026
